Time
Childhood, the Smurf's disease
Fond memories, falling fast asleep
Peter Pan, Gumby--guys,
It seem like time really flies
Dreaming of infinity
Won’t Mom and Dad be pleased
Playground, a child’s toy
Little girls and little boys
I need the world—I needed time
Lego’s click—a child finds
Time stands still, a time disease
Time feeds everything
These words echo in a child’s mind,
Don’t give up, there’s always time
Growing up—the college phase
I’ve come here to find my place
The child’s faith deep in place
They always say, “Don’t hesitate.”
You face the world, your face I know
In time we’ll see how much we grow
A child hurled into the world
Trying to find his place
A lot I miss and this I know:
Memories don’t fade, as we get old
